ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE DESIGN & MANAGEMENT
In a highly competitive business environment, the ability to align business strategy, structure, processes, systems and of course people, determines the success of any organization.
At SLC Resources Limited, our approach to organization development and design is to determine the appropriate tested and proven frameworks to deploy, with our client’s business goals and objectives in mind.
Because we are not the experts in our client’s business, we will partner with you in the assessment and design process, enabling you to make the critical decisions about your organization’s future. We will adapt it to your particular needs, resources and business situation.
We’ll help you identify where you are as an organisation and what you want to achieve over the next 3 – 5 years with respect to building a sustainably successful organisation.
Our Competency Management solutions are based on a structured approach that has a proven track record. Using the Strategic Planning Hierarchy/Process, we will help you develop a strategic plan based on the
- Business Definition/Concept
- Strategic Mission
- Core Strategy
- Key Result Areas
We will also help you identify how best to effectively manage the 6 key factors which have been proven to promote long-term organisational success – Markets, Products/Services, Resources, Operational Systems,
Management Systems and Corporate Culture.
CORPORATE CULTURE MANAGEMENT
Research has shown that a corporate culture has a direct impact on “bottom-line” financial performance. Therefore, if culture is not managed effectively, it can become a significant liability.
Our key focus areas will be:
- Customer-Client Orientation (How we view and treat customers)
- Employee Orientation (How we treat our people and how they treat themselves)
- Performance Standards/Accountability (What/how much employees are held accountable, quality standards and rewards)
- Openness to Change (How we view and react to Change)
- Organisational Process Orientation
MANAGEMENT / LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Our approach is based on the Leadership Framework which focuses on:
- Management and Leadership Skills
- Operational Management Skills
- Organisational Management Skills
- Organisational Development Skills
- Transition Management Skills
The Leadership Development process will include conducting an Organisational/Individual Needs Assessment to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement with respect to Management and Leadership Capabilities. As part of the process, we will have sessions with your senior management to identify specific areas of need. We will also work with you to design a Leadership Programme that best addresses those needs. This may include some of our Leadership Modules and development of new modules as may be required. We will deliver the relevant modules and provide coaching for a 3 – 6 months’ period as the case may be.
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS DESIGN & MANAGEMENT
We will train your managers and leaders across the organisation to design and implement the performance management systems so they can take ownership of managing their team performance.
RECRUITMENT & OUTSOURCING
The Right People with the Right Skills for the Right Jobs
Finding employees who are the ‘right fit’ can be the most difficult and time-consuming function of the Human Resources department.
We are able to help you overcome the daunting task of filling vacant positions in your organization while you concentrate on your core business capabilities. Talent Acquisition/Recruitment plays an integral role in the process of Talent Management. To help us make the best selection decisions, we will deploy tried and tested methods and tools sometimes including psychometric testing in our search for top talent who will meet your requirements and fit into your organizational culture.
